From beginner to advanced models, our structured approach offers a blend of basic, specialisation, and application lectures, allowing you to customise your AI education to match your career goals.
You can obtain a Micro Degree at different levels (of ECTS equivalents):
- Beginner (10 ECTS): Perfect for beginners, combining fundamental lectures to kickstart your AI journey.
- Basic (15 ECTS): Builds on foundational knowledge with added specialisation for a deeper understanding.
- Standard (20 ECTS): Offers a balanced mix of basic, specialisation, and application lectures to broaden your expertise.
- Advanced (25 ECTS): Designed for those seeking comprehensive knowledge with extensive specialisation.
Each program offers a Micro Degree of varying difficulty levels and is designed for a different target group depending on their qualification. These modules can additionally be taken as part of degree programmes and others as additional qualifications. Moreover, you can upgrade your Micro Degree. For instance, if you have already obtained the "Beginner" Micro Degree, you can take additional courses to achieve the "Basic" level.
How does it work?
You can obtain ECTS (credentials) for your Micro Degree by completing lectures which are assigned to three different categories:
- Basic Lectures: Fundamental concepts in fields related to AI
- Specialisation Lectures: Specific Niches in AI
- Application Lectures: Domain-Specific Applications of AI
You can combine these lectures to form a path, at the end of which you will receive a Microdegree! The path you choose will depend on your particular background and exposure to AI.
Students with few or no prior knowledge in AI
For people who have either very minimal experience with AI, or no prior knowledge, we provide three learning paths to a Micro Degree.
Beginner Path
You first take a basic lectures that can either be Data Science Foundations or Machine Learning, and then choose any application lectures of their choice
Basic Path
You can combine a basic lecture with another basic lecture, a specialisation lecture, or another application lecture along with a final application lecture.
Standard Path
You can either combine two basic lectures with a specialisation and application lecture or combine one basic and specialisation with two applications.
Students of Computer Science B.Sc. and M.Sc., and students with good prior knowledge
For students who have previously studied AI related subjects as part of their B.Sc and M.Sc program, we provide a more exhaustive set of paths to a Micro Degree paths called: Basic, Standard and Advanced
Basic Path
Combine a basic lecture with a specialisation and an application, or combine two specialisations with an application.
Standard Path
Combine a basic lecture with either two specialisations and one application or two applications and one specialisation.
Advanced Path
Two basics and specialisation, or one basic and three specialisations with an application, or a basic with two specialisations and applications.
